Hospital PAVILION Opening 2023

By investing in our hospital facility and related technologies today, we are ensuring our community will get state-of-the-art healthcare, close to home, for years to come.

Flexible Building Design

  • 190,000 square foot, six-floor pavilion connected to the existing hospital building
  • Spacious two-level lobby filled with natural light, seating, a café with outdoor dining and a gift shop, all in close proximity to patient and procedural rooms
  • 52 private patient rooms designed to accommodate ICU or PCU levels of care and capable of enhanced airflow for use with infectious diseases such as COVID-19
  • The newest in-room technology connects patients and family to caregivers and daily care plans

Emergency/
Trauma care

  • New Emergency Department with 28 treatment rooms and two trauma bays
  • Surgical team, including neurosurgery, standing by to treat patients requiring care for injuries, 24 hours a day, seven days a week
  • Easy access by vehicle, and a helicopter pad on the roof 
  • Waiting areas designed for privacy and comfort

The Latest Healthcare Technology

  • 10 new operating rooms that are substantially larger and designed to accommodate developing technologies
  • Four hybrid operating rooms which support appropriate imaging equipment for minimally invasive surgeries or traditional “open” surgeries, all in one OR suite
  • A new cardiac catheterization laboratory and diagnostic imaging technology
